I'm Satu and I am the founder and teacher at Blooming Bubs.

 

I love teaching baby classes and supporting parents at the beginning of their parenting journey, whether it's with their first or fifth child. I enjoy working with parents, babies and toddlers and helping you bring them the best start in life!

I have two of my own little rascals too, Lenny and Leila, so I definitely have some stories to tell. I love being a mum and love them to the moon and back, even if they sometimes drive me crazy. We live in Chslehurst, Bromley, Kent, where I also teach my baby classes.

​

I trained as a postnatal Instructor when Leila was only a tiny little seed. She was my real live massage doll and still enjoys a massage and it really helps to calm her down before bed. Her middle name is 'Rose' and I suppose she really is the inspiration for Blooming Bubs name and logo.

​

Even though I had experience looking after newborns, nothing quite prepared me for the exciting, but sometimes hard journey of having my own! The journey has also been completely different with both of them. What worked nine years ago with my first, has not always worked with number two and I still keep learning all the time. 

 

I have always worked with children,  as a nanny, in nursery, as a teaching assistant, working with babies and children, some with special needs and complex learning difficulties. I have also been running baby and toddler music classes at Finnish Saturday school since Lenny was a baby.

 

I look forward to being able to use all that I’ve learned over the years at work and as a mum myself, sharing it with you in my classes and also learning all the clever tricks and tips you’ll share with me!

 

I am passionate about providing support for parents and being there for you to ask anything. If I don't know the answer, I will try to find out for you. I have great relationships with other pre and postnatal  professionals locally and can sing post you to them if need be, so please know that you can truly ask me anything.
